A Tale by an Author who Lived in Both Worlds

For those that grew up with the internet, you may remember.

During the first 30 years of my life, there was relatively little growth in R. If someone had told me what life would be like in 2022. I would have thought I heard a science fiction story. However, I love the internet, and I can say .. it has made life easier in many ways. Although I got two degrees without the internet, I wondered how I graduated because my spelling and grammar were so bad. In the last decade, I have been working on my doctorate, finally with the internet, which makes it so much easier. I don't have to run to libraries to find research, and my grammar and spelling are better. All I can say with relief, Ahh, Grammarly.

When I was a kid, I would ask my mother how to spell a word for my homework. She usually yelled from another room, "LOOK IT UP IN THE DICTIONARY." 'Well, if you are a terrible speller, you could not find it in the dictionary. So at times, I felt stuck.
